Exhalation Valve for pespiratory protection
Respiratory protection protects the wearer. Respiratory protection refers to respirators, which are protective devices that cover a person’s nose and mouth or the entire face or head to help reduce the wearer’s exposure from breathing in air that contains contaminants.
The exhalation valve acts like a check valve, permitting air to flow out of the respirator facepiece, and preventing reverse flow through the valve on inhalation.
Respirator’s ability to provide respiratory protection. The valve is designed to open during exhalation to allow exhaled air to exit the respirator and then close tightly during inhalation, so inhaled air is not permitted to enter the respirator through the valve.
