Exhalation Valve Design:

Under normal conditions, penetration of aerosol through exhalation valves is minimal. Design The design of the exhalation valve of face mask is made with reference to open-source sample images and videos. It has been 3d printing the exhalation valves using its selective laser sintering technology and is printed from biocompatible nylon material.

Exhalation Valve is designed to release hot, humid exhaled breath quickly, helping to prevent an unpleasant build up of heat inside the facepiece and increase comfort for respirator wearers.


exhalation valve works:

A respirator’s exhalation valve works by closing when the wearer inhales, pulling the inhaled breath through the filter material, and then opening to allow exhaled unfiltered breath to be expelled through the exhalation valve.

Exhalation valve can close and prevent air go through valve during breath in. when breath out, the valve open and release exhalation air quickly which make respirator wearer feel comfortable. One type of exhalation valve can be assembled physically onto the respirator mask, it consist of 3 parts: base, cover and silicon valve block.
